It is necessary to look into how one designs an organisation around its purpose. Many organisations move into the direction that they want to hand over autonomy and accountability to the employees that normally know their area the best. This way the organisation enables its people and is much more adaptive through local decision making. 

Themes to look into are for instance, on how to set goals - top down or defined bottom-up? More long term or more with sprints and agile methods? What is the role of the leader when big parts of the role are delegated? 

Or the way we recruit: the future supervisors select their future team member, but how about having peer team members select their new member of the team, or even their future leader.
